
Programs like community mobilization have been able to influence the mass. under PM Shri activities like Bagless Day, Annual Festival, summer camp, exposer visit, expert talk and Swachchata Pakhwada will also be organized.
According to Mrs. Neeru Bhakuni, the ex- chairperson of the school management committee, “The school will now see a substantial lift in the standards and will notice on increase in enrollment in the upcoming years”.
First time since the inception of the school, a two day field visit(Exposure visit)was organized by the school. The educational tour to the Vivekanand Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (ICAR)was not only a fun for the students of a rural background but they found the maiden opportunity to learn and absorb the intricate details about Vermin, Compost, Dairy, Horticulture and how to spray pesticide and fertilizer with Drone.
Another educational tour was organized to visit Baijnath temple, a 12th century Lord Shiva shrine which is considered as one of the 12th jyotirlingas. Children explore the magnificent 102 stone idol and learnt about the ancient temple and historically significant of former katyuri dynasty.
Programs on science and math circle have been wonderful.it allowed the students to overcome the fear of these two subjects and foster a new approach to learning. The school will continue to organize such programs in future too.
The projects like development of the kitchen cum herbal garden are in the pipeline. Soon we are hoping to grow organic vegetables in the kitchen garden.
Under this scheme, apart from getting a handsome amount for turning the school in to a ‘Green School’, we have received 65 k rupees for the purchase of millets every week, we are adding one or the other millets like ragi, jhingora, jowar in the mid-day meal.
